CHINOOK - Jan Doms | Glasrijk Tubbergen 01 - 04/10/2026

Under the title 'The Power of Glass', the anniversary edition of Glasrijk Tubbergen will take place at numerous locations in and around Tubbergen from October 1 to 4 2026.

 

On Wednesday, September 30, starting at 7:00 PM, the opening performance 'Chinook' by Jan Doms will take place for invited guests in the large industrial hall of MW Techniek in Tubbergen.

Jan Doms is creating the dynamic project 'Chinook' specifically for this anniversary edition of what is in this case so-called 'functional glass'. That project refers to the contemporary belligerent developments in the world.

 

Doms lived for a long time near the Gilze-Rijen Military Air Force Base, where the region is dominated by the sounds of high-speed jet fighters, bombers and helicopters taking off and landing, including Chinooks in more recent years.
